For Milestone 3 we needed our MVP up and running. I got my MVP finished. As always, I want to do more but this is where I cut myself off.
I ended up figuring out my library and getting it to look like an album cover, I decided to flip between two colors to highlight the cube effect and ended up focusing my efforts on using Slidr.
Slidr was frustrating at first. I did not have the best relationship with the documentation around it and ended up finding someone else who had used it, which pushed me toward my goal of understanding the library and getting through the information. After I understood the library (which was extremely exciting) I was glad that I got it figured out. Slidr is clean, and once I figured out what I needed to do, the breadcrumbs and the arrows look really good.
I am really happy about how it turned out, in retrospect I could have but more effort into the color scheme. But figuring out an animation library was something that was really accomplishing.
If I had more time I would love to do a vinyl loading screen and an animation with how it’s made, but overall I am just really happy that I got the library to work and look clean.
