What did I accomplish this week?

• I took apart my lamp.
• I figured out what to get for the project, including getting a RTC, which I had not planned for previously.
• I ordered my parts, so they will get here with enough time for me to work for a while.
• I started to look into the LCD screen, looking at resources online for projects with the LCD screen.

What do I plan to be done with by next week?

• Fully gut the lamp, figure out if there’s anything wrong with it.
• Ensure that everything will fit or figure out another base if it will not all fit.
• Start working with the neopixel ring, as well as the power source to the wall, get that to work seamlessly without any time component.
• Get the LCD screen to show Hello World, and continue testing with LCD.

Weekly goal for week 3

• Start to work with the neopixel ring and time, tie the RTC to the neopixel ring.
• Get the LCD screen and RTC working together, and tie the RTC to the light and the LCD screen.

Weekly goal for week 4

• Catch up on anything I had fallen behind on, push forward to get a little break for Thanksgiving.
• Continue to work out any problems, potentially figure out audio component if I have time.
• Get any problems solved or planned out to solve later, in order to get the project done before 12/13
